Sometimes jobs aren’t as simple as pressure washing concrete. For the Element Ballantyne apartment community, Southern Outdoor Restoration took special pains on the prep work for breezeway cleaning. The team wrapped all sensitive electronics — including pull stations and fire panels in FACP rooms — with plastic wrap and duct tape and took pictures to document their condition before cleaning. Technicians soft washed the interiors of breezeways, downstreamed bleach and surface cleaned all flatwork, pretreated FOG (fat, oil, grease) stains with HSR with X-jet pressure washers before cleaning them with hot water, and squeegeed the floors to prevent water buildup.
