Overture Cary is an independent living community that prides itself on a beautiful experience for active seniors. Southern Outdoor Restoration contributed to that experience over the summer by pressure washing the building exterior, carports, courtyards, clubhouse, pool deck and all sidewalks. Our technicians used a scissor lift to soft wash all building facades with biodegradable mildewcide solution at low pressure. This tricky operation requires precise attention to detail, and the mildewcide prevents gray and green mildew spores from returning four to five times longer than if high-pressure techniques were used. Afterwards, our team performed a complete freshwater rinse to ensure a uniform finish. The pressure washing removed mildew, algae, pollen, cobwebs and loose dirt from the painted and vinyl surfaces of the homes. Throughout this entire six-day project, SOR provided the client with a digital progress map showing the step-by-step process.
