SOR has created and implemented an ongoing masterplan for this community. We stain all new decks after construction and then put them on a four year rotation schedule to be stained again. This has allowed the community to maintain a uniform and fresh look to its exteriors as one group does not age while new groups are being added. We are applying a solid acrylic stain which holds up long term from a maintenance and cost perspective. This gives us the ability to pressure wash between staining without chipping or affecting the physical appearance of the decks. We notify residents in advance of their cleaning or staining in order to allow residents to remove all personal deck items and return them the next day, to be unbothered again for four more years.
